Imagining characters and experimenting with their voices in a safe and caring environment, has given our boy the confidence required in the classroom and wider world. Seeing him present to his Yr5/6 syndicate at the end of the year was impressive. I can see how this course will help him continue to grow and develop as a young man.

I remember me warning you that he may not like your session because it involves overcoming certain fears, but I was absolutely blown away when he came back from school that first day that he attended your session, and, excitedly talked about it and..wait for it... wanted to go again!!!

He was very excited and took a front role in the school production because the sessions with you made him not fear the crowd as he knew it was ok to speak and dance in front of an audience.

I absolutely recommend Speak Again. I am the mother of an extravert who had already done well in speech comps in primary school. Speak Again gave her the ability to think on her feet, the confidence to improvise and the ability to work in a group to present. My daughter has since gone on to complete Grade 5 with the NZ speech board achieving Distinction level and the highest mark for her year. Many times she commented on how Speak Again prepared her for the NZ Speech Programme and how she felt, "ahead". We are amazed!
My son is an introvert. After much encouragement he decided to trial Speak Again and he LOVED it. As parents we saw this child go from a quiet, shy little boy to holding conversations confidently with our adult friends in a range of different settings. Speak Again has given my son the confidence to have a voice.
We are very happy to recommend it to all as a wonderful programme with a wide range of skills, allowing many students the opportunity to shine whatever their background and natural strengths.
